Jewish Heritage Tour

Moroccan Jewish heritage accross the Kingdom

Some Jews may be hesitant to travel to a Muslim nation, but lovely Morocco is not only secure, but also hospitable. Despite the fall of the Moroccan Jewish population following Israel’s establishment, Jews have continued to reside in Morocco, eating kosher food, attending Jewish schools, and worshiping in one of the many synagogues. The cemeteries are also well-kept, often by Moroccan “shomrim” (custodians) who take their responsibilities seriously and dutifully.

Tour Description

The Jewish Heritage Morocco Tour  is designed for the discerning tourist. This tour includes visits to historic synagogues, cemeteries, architectural buildings, and the natural environs of the region, as well as opportunities to attend Jewish Shabbat services and dine at a Rabbi’s residence.
